Wallpaper removal and wallpaper hanging
Old paper comes off by wetting the backing and scraping at a low angle; then the adhesive is washed off and the wall left to dry. What is underneath is only known once the paper is off, so the quote says in writing what happens if the wall needs more repair than could be seen.

Removal is priced on what can be seen at the survey. If the wall underneath needs repair beyond filling, it is shown to you and priced before we carry on.
